Thank You!

We couldn't be more excited for the second season of The 607 CSA. We couldn't do it without our stellar members, so thank you! We hope you enjoy eating your food as much as we enjoy growing it.

Storage

All the leafy things this week store best in a plastic bag in the fridge. The radish and turnip greens are great sauteed!

Recipes

We've been devouring this Thai Salad recipe using kale, bok choy, grated radishes and turnips for the veggies. Also, when we're out of coconut milk we substitute a hefty spoonful of coconut oil and a couple of tablespoons of butter. Grated coconut is yummy too!

Check out these rhubarb recipes including a simple syrup, pie, and much more.

Farm News

Both farms have long to-do lists now that June is nearly upon us. Farmers often claim June is the busiest month because seeding, planting, weeding, and harvesting are all in full swing. We're just keeping our heads down, doing all the things, and waiting for it to be over. Oh, and praying for rain! But even in June, we wouldn't trade it for anything.

Enjoy,
